Stream of “Just Movement” by Robert Delong

 

Now, I’m not usually a big fan of EDM music and the sort, but a few months back I saw Robert Delong play and was BLOWN AWAY. I posted about him a while back, before he really had much music out. On Tuesday, his much anticipated album “Just Movement” releases on Glassnote Records. But, to hold you over before you buy it, Billboard is streaming the entire album on their site here. 

I just did my first listen through and it’s great. Now for round 2!

Time Capsules II by Oberhofer

Oberhofer is a group based out of Brooklyn, New York. They’ve been around for about four years now and signed on to Glassnote Records in 2011. They released their debut album earlier this year titled “Time Capsules II”. Definitely a good record and good group. Good jams if you’re into indie rock type stuff!

Little Green Cars

Now, one last Glassnote artist to post about. Little Green Cars is an indie rock / folk band from Ireland. They just played a few large shows in the states, like shows at CMJ and the Hardly Strictly Bluegrass Festival. They’re definitely gaining momentum in the states quickly, and I’m sure we’ll see more from them soon! Below is their new music video for their single “The John Wayne”.

Robert Delong

I suppose after the Glassnote Showcase I attended last week, I’ll stay one a short trend of posts about newer Glassnote Musicians. This one is an electronic / dance artist named Robert Delong. Now, I’m not usually a fan of this genre of music, I’ve tried and just never really able to get into it. HOWEVER, when I saw Robert Delong play last week, I dug it, immediately. He becomes so involved in the live performance, and is an incredibly talented musician. Definitely music that’ll make you get up and move around a little!
